Three Holiday Treats
Festive holiday eats.

Hey, girl. Christmas is next week. If you are anything like me, you live for a holiday nosh. Since we are the only plant-based eaters in our family, I have taken on the creation and execution of an entire holiday menu for Mr. DoH and myself during the holidays. You know, so we don’t feel excluded while everyone else is stuffing their faces with foods outside of the boundaries of our diet.
In years past, I went my typical route of overdoing it and ended up too exhausted to properly enjoy the feast of my labor. However, in keeping with the spirit of the only goal of my thirty-third year, this Christmas I have decided to focus on only a few recipes outside of the main dish (a store-bought vegan roast, which I will take exactly one bite of before passing it off to Mr. DoH to devour) and the essential mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy. It’s really all about the trimmings and the treats anyway.
